Our Diagnostic Pricing
Our Diagnostic Fees for various product types are listed below. Each repair is charged a Diagnostic Fee in order for our technicians to assess the fault and prepare an estimate for your approval. Due to the various types of products and potential faults, final estimates for a repair will vary between products.

What is a diagnostic fee?
Westpeak’s diagnostic fee is the minimum labour charge for our technician to look at your unit and to diagnose the fault. This usually involves dismantling the unit and verifying all common functions of the unit. I f parts and additional labour are required, the diagnostic fee is put towards the cost of the repair.
Why replace the entire board and not the individual faulted component?
We try to save our customers unnecessary cost whenever possible. On many boards, the amount of time required for diagnosing a fault on a board is greater than the cost of replacing the board entirely. We always ensure that we make the most cost efficient decisions when it comes to service.
